Pendant tutorial: orchid from polymer clay

And it does not have to be a guru or have stotysch-hour experience with polymer clay.

We start with a picture of our petals.
I consulted with him and decided that I needed two colors: white and light pink.




Of white plastic, I form the "stump" and covered it with a ribbon, roll of pink plastic.




Further squeezed. Long uzhatuyu sausage cut. A third of tidy away. The remaining two-thirds rezhu on wedges (in my case it is 8 bars of equal length). Back to the lazy-thirds. I keep it stretched, and then cut so as to 8 identical in length bars.




Large wedges (in the sense of those that have a larger diameter), I flatten and stack up.




I spread over them wedges of smaller diameter.




Now I received a bar to shrink. But before I squeezed it all, I'll do one side of the bar more centered, larger than life figure for the petals.

Our flower should be at the expense of something fixed.
What I do:
I take the patty and put plastic on her pre-bent pin (rigid wire), lightly press down.
You can see that outside of the "cake" I have a loop, for which I was then, and will strengthen the flower, and the cake itself - the hook. I do so in order to pin not taken off in the future. Due to hook our metal part is firmly in the flower.



Begin to spread the petals



And pressed down from a toothpick to the bottom of the flower (the same cake)

The last remaining petal. I call it "skirt", and someone calls a "beard":)

The flower is ready:)
Now, stand it on a surface on which it is baked. In my case it's a piece of cardboard. Baking temperature - 130 degrees, baking time - 25 minutes.




After baking - varnish (not so much shine, but in order to secure the bright flower of dirt and dust). Pendant is ready:)
